Finding out ways to Kill a Child's innocence
Just as St.Augustin claimed “If you do not ask me what time is, I know it; if you ask me, I do not know,” childhood innocence is a malleable and sophisticated concept. Innocence, specifically childhood innocence, mysteriously operates with imagination and ideal, standardized images which often come from fairytales, fantasies and children's media. Childhood innocence is a special quality of ignorance, a solid, irrational promise that is bound to break and cannot regain its original form once lost. presents artists who twist and spoil the predetermined and embedded concepts in diverse ways, triggering the audience to perceive images in a different light. The exhibition encourages the audience to explore the gap that lingers when a child’s innocence is lost.
