아기돼지 삼형제가 늑대를 피해 모두 살아남을 수 있었던 것은 몸을 피신할 수 있는 곳과 서로를 도와줄 이가 있었기 때문입니다. 위험에 처했을 때 혼자라면 쉽게 극복할 수 있는 일이 때로는 함께 힘을 합치고 노력하면 아주 쉽게 해결되기도 하니까요. 인간은 사회적인 동물로, 의사소통을 하며 살게 됩니다. 서로에 대한 지각의 차이나 선입견을 좁혀주는 수단인 커뮤니케이션의 중요성을 다시 생각하게 된 작품이기에 의사소통의 상징인 전화기를 레트로 스타일로 동화 속 인물들과 함께 배치해보았습니다. 지금 당장 위험에 처한다면 누가 가장 생각날 것 같나요? 그리고 누군가가 당신에게 도움을 요청한다면 도와줄 준비가 되어있습니까?
The Three Little Pigs survived the wolf's threat because they had a place to hide, and each other. Sometimes, what might seem like an insurmountable problem when faced alone can be overcome with ease by pooling resources and working together. As social animals, humans rely on communication to live and thrive. This artwork highlights the importance of communication, which helps narrow the perception gap and overcome prejudices between individuals. I have placed a retro-style telephone among the characters in the story to represent this vital aspect of communication. If you were in danger right now, who do you think would come to mind first? And if someone were to ask for your help, are you prepared to lend a hand?
